Engineer denies claims he is Bitcoin creator

A California engineer identified by Newsweek magazine as the creator of the digital currency, Bitcoin, “unconditionally” denied the report and has hired a lawyer to “clear his name”.

Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto, a Temple City resident who formerly worked for the Federal Aviation Administration and defence companies, had previously denied Newsweek’s March 6 story in an interview with the Associated Press.

He said his current personal finances meant he could not afford access to the internet and the first he had ever heard of ‘Bitcoin’ was in February this year
