Apollo Theatre roof collapse injures 88

Some 88 people were wounded, seven seriously, after part of the roof at London’s Apollo theatre in the West End collapsed last night during a performance.

Police were called to the theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue just after 8.15pm.

The collapse occurred during a performance of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-time.
