Gaga scales new heights for fashion
Lady Gaga’s album sales are already stratospheric, so why not her evening wear?
The ‘Applause’ singer has unveiled a hi-tech, white vehicle she calls the world’s first flying dress.
The contraption lifted her inside a mammoth building in New York City, where she held a launch party for her new album.
The 27-year-old said this was “maybe a small step for Volantis” — as she calls the battery-powered metal dress — but “a big-time step” for Lady Gaga. She says her ultimate goal is to stage the first musical performance from space.
A man accused of taking home a husky after it escaped has returned the puppy after it wrecked his house, according to reports.
Max the Siberian husky was reunited with Victoria DeCosemo and her three children after the man who picked him up in the street rang police and asked them to take the pet away because it was not house-trained and had caused a stink.
A Durham Police spokeswoman said inquiries were ongoing and no arrests had been made.
Ms DeCosemo told the Northern Echo Max escaped during a walk in Darlington and a man scooped him up. She went on to Facebook to appeal for details about Max’s whereabouts, during which the man who grabbed him was described as “scruffy”.
That led to the man coming to her door and complaining about being labelled a scruff. As tempers flared, the man fled, but only after he apparently warned Ms DeCosemo she would not be getting Max back.
But hours later he called police in Darlington and asked officers to collect the husky, which had caused a mess.
Ms DeCosemo was delighted to get Max back, as were her children.
She told the Northern Echo: “I think he probably got fed up because he doesn’t know how much hard work a puppy can be and it really messed up his house.”

Guided tours of Detroit’s murder scenes have angered locals who say they are harming the city’s image.
The tours have been criticised as an attempt to capitalise on the crimes that still plague the Motor City, also derisively dubbed “Murder City.”
Locals also say that the last thing they want is more bad publicity for a city that recently became the nation’s largest to file for bankruptcy and already draws tourists who gawk at its widespread blight.
