Oz radio show that aired Kate hoax call axed

The Australian radio show that aired a prank call involving the hospital that treated the Duchess of Cambridge has been cancelled, reports say.

The Hot 30 programme broadcast the hoax telephone call made by its two presenters who posed as the Queen and Prince of Wales last month.

Nurse Jacintha Saldanha transferred the DJs from 2Day FM to a colleague, who then described in detail the condition of Kate, who was being treated at the time for a rare form of pregnancy sickness.
