€3m a month for Silvio’s ex-wife

Former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi must pay his second wife Veronica Lario €3m a month — the equivalent of €100,000 a day — in a divorce settlement, reports say.

Berlusconi gets to keep the home, said to be worth €78m, the Corriere della Sera newspaper said.

The paperwork was filed on Christmas Day at Milan’s tribunal. It was not clear how long the terms lasted.
