McAfee stops blogging to focus on chase

John McAfee — the antivirus software pioneer who is on the run from police seeking to quiz him about the murder of a neighbour — is about to do the unthinkable: He is about to take time off blogging to concentrate on being chased by police.

The billionaire inventor of McAfee antivirus software told his friend Chad Essley yesterday morning that “something had happened” and that he needed to move to another location.

He may be out of contact for a few days.
