Cowell hires healer to rid home of bad energy

Simon Cowell has hired a “healer” to visit his luxury Los Angeles home and clear it of negative energy.

The X Factor mogul, 52, whose shows in the US and in Britain have been under pressure in the ratings, revealed he’d hired the healer on Twitter.

“Today I had someone heal my house. Strange but great,” he told his four million followers.

“The healer brings in good energy. Someone told me about it. It takes a couple of days.”

The hiring of a healer is the latest insight into Cowell’s unusual lifestyle.

A recent biography claimed the star enjoys biannual Botox, regular colonic irrigation and intravenous vitamin injections to keep him looking young.

Cowell recently dismissed speculation that he had a breakdown, saying: “Reports of my, whatever it was, are a little bit exaggerated... I mean I did turn my phone off for six weeks, because you know I had a lot going on.”

Meanwhile, he is rumoured to be dating Carmen Electra.

The X Factor supremo and the former Baywatch actress were apparently spotted “making out” on a dinner date in Los Angeles, sparking speculation that they are an item, reported The Sun.

A source said: “They were getting very cosy. They were holding hands and staring into each other’s eyes — then they started making out.”

Photographs of the pair after the meal show Cowell with his arm around the 40-year-old former Playboy model as they left the West Hollywood eatery together.

Cowell and Electra have apparently been seeing each other while he has been working on US X Factor.

A friend of Carmen’s said she is “getting back in the dating pool” following her split from guitarist Rob Patterson earlier this year, adding: “Simon treats her very well. It’s all very laid back at the moment but they are both enjoying themselves.”

However, a source told E! News that the two celebrities are “just friends” and they were out for dinner with a big group of friends: “They are just friends from the UK and the US. They have known each other a while and she guest judged on Britain’s Got Talent.”

Neither star has commented on the rumours.
