Hunt for killers of migrant

Greek police are searching for five people suspected of involvement in the killing of an Iraqi migrant in central Athens, and suspect they also attacked two other foreign nationals.

A police statement said the man, whose name and age have not been given, was attacked with a sharp instrument. He was taken to a hospital but died.

Police say a Romanian and a Moroccan were attacked earlier, but fled. They did not specify if they had sustained injuries. Attacks on immigrants have been on the increase in Greece amid fears they are to blame for a rise in crime.
