Decapitated body found

British police were last night questioning two men over the murder of a man whose burned and decapitated body was found in Stockport.

Firemen found the body of John Grainger, 32, early on Thursday ablaze on a verge in the town centre, opposite the Gala Casino. His head was found nearby.

Postmortem tests revealed he was shot in the head and sustained a blunt force head injury.
