Gervais says no to Globes

RICKY Gervais has said he never wants to host the Golden Globes again, describing it as “like a parachute jump”.

The comic, who recently hosted the awards for the third time, caused controversy last year with a series of near-the-knuckle remarks about some of Hollywood’s biggest names.

This year he came under fire from critics for not being funny enough, with one writing that his performance “felt forced and heavy-handed”.
