Corrie star ‘exonerated’

CORONATION Street star Michael Le Vell has told how he was “delighted” to have been “completely exonerated” after he was cleared of child sex allegations following a police investigation.

The star — who has played mechanic Kevin Webster for nearly 30 years — said he was now planning to carry on working and put the incident behind him.

Le Vell, 46, was arrested and interviewed after allegations were made against him of a sexual assault, which was alleged to have taken place a number of years ago.
