31 injured after plane overturns on runway

Emergency rescue services gather around the overturned Soviet-era Tupolev Tu-134 after it crash-landed in foggy conditions in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. 82 passengers and six crew members were evacuated and 17 were hospitalised.

Officials have declined to comment on possible causes of the crash.

A SOVIET-BUILT jet operated by a Kyrgyz carrier broke its wing, overturned and caught fire as it tried to land in deep fog in southern Kyrgyzstan, leaving 31 people injured.
