Jail time over Facebook post

A MAN accused of binding his baby daughter’s hands, legs and mouth with tape, then posting a picture of what he had done on Facebook was remanded in custody.

Jail time over Facebook post

Andre Curry’s lawyer said the case had been “blown out of proportion” but Judge Laura Sullivan accepted the prosecutor’s suggestions, from not allowing Curry to have any contact with the 22-month old girl or other minors, to banning him from using the internet.

Curry, aged 21, of Chicago, Illinois, was charged with a felony count of aggravated domestic battery and needs $10,000 dollars (€7,668) to be released from jail. He will return to court next Tuesday.
