11 tourists die in bus crash

ELEVEN Hungarian tourists were killed when a speeding tour bus overturned at a Red Sea resort town in south-eastern Egypt, according to police and medical officials.

Egypt’s state-run news agency MENA said 27 other tourists were injured in yesterday’s crash at the entrance to Hurghada, 315 miles south-east of Cairo.

The officials said the bus was carrying the tourists from their hotel to the airport on a motorway.
