SIX men have been charged with terror offences after they were arrested last week in a major operation, British police said last night.

The men, all from Birmingham, were arrested as part of a major operation carried out by the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit.

West Midlands Police said four men have been charged with preparing for an act of terrorism in Britain and two more with failing to disclose information. One of those two was also charged with terrorist fundraising.
