Winehouse charity set up
Winehouse was found dead at her London home on July 23. Toxicology reports indicate there was alcohol in her bloodstream but it was unclear if this contributed to her death.
Her father, Mitch, says the Amy Winehouse Foundation will support organisations that help vulnerable young people who may have addictions.
Her mother Janis said: “It is a source of great comfort to know that Amy would be proud of this.”
The charity will derive much of its first income from the release yesterday of Winehouse’s duet with Tony Bennett, Body And Soul.
