Twins stable

DOCTORS have successfully separated conjoined twin girls after a six-hour surgery at the Shanghai Children’s Medical Centre in China.

An An and Xin Xin were born in April with connected livers and hearts.

Doctors separated their organs, reshaped their ribs and reconstructed their chests with titanium-alloy plates.The babies are in a stable condition.
