Man hit with stun gun dies

A MAN who was running around Wisconsin naked has died after police attempted to subdue him with a stun gun.

The Appleton Police Department is investigating what led to the death of the man who had been running naked through downtown Kaukauna at about 5am on Saturday.

The Appleton Post-Crescent reported that when police reached him, he was sweating profusely and made claims of being covered in snakes and of being dead.

Police called an ambulance but the man became agitated when it arrived and ran away.

Officers were initially unable to restrain him and used a stun gun to subdue him while medical personnel treated him, but he was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police later found evidence of drug use at the man’s apartment.
