Milly Dowler killer seeks compo for attack in prison

LAWYERS acting for the killer of Milly Dowler are negotiating with the Prison Service over how much compensation he should receive for being attacked in jail, they said.

The prison authorities have admitted full liability for the incident involving Levi Bellfield, but a figure for compensation is yet to be agreed, said Jeremy Moore, of Carter Moore solicitors.

Reports said that Bellfield was suing for £30,000 (€34,000).
