A MAN has had part of his nose bitten off during an unprovoked attack, police said.

The victim, aged 35, was approached by three men when he and a friend were walking on a footpath towards Camberley, Surrey. The men assaulted the victim, causing him to fall to the ground.

One of the attackers than bit off part of his nose before the trio made off towards a bridge crossing the M3 motorway.

The victim is in hospital, where he is awaiting surgery, a spokesman for Surrey Police said.
