Two arrests in Oz sex scandal

TWO young men were charged yesterday over a sex scandal at a prestigious Australian military college which led to a review of the treatment of women in the armed forces.

Canberra police said the two men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested yesterday at the Australian Defence Force Academy over the March incident, in which a female cadet was allegedly unknowingly filmed and broadcast having sex.

Both men have been charged with using “a carriage service to cause offence“.
