YEMENI protesters demanding President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s removal have vowed to step up their street protests.

Yemen  unrest set to continue

Saleh has ruled the impoverished Arabian state for nearly 33 years and has agreed to an initiative that would see him resign within a month of an agreement being signed with the opposition.

However, the people who gave the protests their momentum are sceptical.

They worry the ruling party and the opposition will sacrifice for political gain the wishes of those demanding democratic reforms and they do not trust Saleh’s intentions.
