SOUTHERN Thailand is facing more torrential rain after downpours killed at least 15 people and forced the navy to help evacuate hundreds of stranded tourists.

At least four people died in landslides in Krabi province, and more than 100 people were injured, with dozens missing.

The Thai navy sent three vessels to help evacuate tourists from resort islands such as Koh Samui, where air traffic was disrupted by flooding around its airport.
