Tang posted a correction in September 2010 following an article in a Sunday paper which said “David Tang is a creep.”
Tang’s riposte on the I Correct website (www.icorrect.com) was the pithy: “This is greatly exaggerated.”

To confirm the true identity of a corrector, a user must supply a reliable reference, which can either be through an existing member who supplies them with a secret reference code or via a reputable source such as their legal firm.
Jonathan Powell, who served as Tony Blair’s chief of staff from 1997 to 2007, responded to an article by Jenny McCartney in the Spectator in which she argued that “the Northern Ireland peace process was a terrible mistake and the result of appeasement by the British government.”
Powell lists some of her “misunderstandings, misconceptions and mistakes,” which include the suggestion that: “Tony Blair sold out the moderate SDLP and UUP and left Northern Ireland in the hands of the extremists.
“On the contrary Tony Blair kept a candle burning for David Trimble long after everyone else had given up on him including the electorate ... it was the Northern Ireland electorate that put Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness into office not the British government,” Powell said.
“She says she doesn’t like dealing with a government containing former gunmen, but the British government has repeatedly done so before. You only have to think of Begin and the Stern gang, Kenyata and the MauMau, Archbishop Makarios and Cyprus and now the PLO.”
“Not many people know that.” For the past 40 years, I have always been associated with these words.
Correction: I have never said Not many people know that. Peter Sellers said it when he impersonated my voice on his telephone answering machine.
His impersonation was “This is Michael Caine, Peter Sellers is out. Not many people know that.”
He also repeated this on the Michael Parkinson show. I do not mind something clever being attributed to me, but I do mind something stupid that I did not say or do.

Correction: I never changed my first name and if I had, it would not have been for a name, which when said out loud, sounds like you’re clearing your throat of phlegm. That’s not to say that there aren’t lots of lovely Muslim girls’ names...

Correction: We met at a party but never discussed her working at the Old Vic. There isn’t even a role of Nymph in The Tempest.

Beast, also known as “the luckiest dog in the world” belongs to Facebook founder and multi-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and his long-term girlfriend Priscilla Chang.
The pampered pooch is already the top dog on Facebook after notching up a whopping 50,000 followers in four days and is tipped to double that by the end of the year.
Now bookmakers Paddy Power are offering odds of just 4/7 that Beast will tot up more than 1 million “Likes” by the end of 2011. However, he’ll need a little more luck to catch up with Charlie Sheen as the Two and Half Men star has already racked up a phenomenal 2.5 million followers on Twitter.
The odds on Beast surpassing Sheen’s number of Twitter followers with Facebook Likes are an unlikely 5/1.
