Ross plans superhero film

JONATHAN ROSS is to follow in the footsteps of his wife Jane Goldman by bringing superheroes to the big screen.

Director Matthew Vaughn, who collaborated with Goldman on hit films Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class, is aiming to make a film based on a forthcoming graphic novel series written by film and comic buff Ross.

Vaughn told influential film blog Deadline that a major Hollywood studio had shown interest in The Golden Age — and he was hoping to cast Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty in the film.
