1 dies, 11 hurt in US shooting

A SHOOTING at a fraternity house near the Youngstown State University campus in Ohio has left one person dead and 11 others injured, police said yesterday.

Youngstown police Lieutenant Franklin Palmer said the shooting happened early yesterday and at least one suspect has been identified but no arrests have been made. He had no information on whether police believe more than one gunman was involved.

The university said the person killed and six of the wounded are YSU students.
