Jail for attack on cartoonist

A SOMALI man convicted of terrorism for breaking into the home of a Danish cartoonist who had caricatured the Prophet Muhammad has been jailed for nine years.

The Aarhus city court in Denmark ruled that Muhideen Mohammed Geelle should be deported after his sentence.

The 29-year-old entered Kurt Westergaard’s home armed with an axe on New Year’s Day 2010.
