Cross-eyed opossum Heidi becomes a star

FIRST, it was Knut, the overwhelmingly cute polar bear.

Then, it was Paul, the World Cup oracle octopus. Now, the latest German zoo resident to gain massive fame is Heidi, the cross-eyed opossum, in residence at the Leipzig Zoo.

The cross-eyed opossum in Germany called Heidi who is not yet even on public display has become an internet hit, winning more than 65,000 admirers on social networking website Facebook.
