Boy, 15, found dead in bath

MURDER police were investigating yesterday after a badly injured 15-year-old boy was found dead in a bath.

The teenager was discovered apparently drowned and with a number of other injuries at the property in Newham, east London, on Christmas Day. A 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service to the property in Hathaway Crescent at 12.15pm yesterday following reports of a drowning. Officers found the boy in the bath with “a number of injuries” and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
