Slam dunk for cousins who break record with giant biscuit

FOR people with a sweet tooth, this giant biscuit is probably the foodstuff of dreams but it has also secured two cousins a world record.

Paul Thacker, 30, and Simon Morgan, 32, had their giant custard cream assessed by adjudicators as part of Guinness World Record Day and set a record for largest cream biscuit.

They put their mammoth 59cm long and 39cm wide creation on eBay with the hope of raising £100 (€117) for Children in Need and have already exceeded that target as eight bidders raised the total to £118, even with another four days left on the auction.
