Jacko ‘hooked’ on surgery

MICHAEL JACKSON’s mother said yesterday she believes her famous son was addicted to plastic surgery.

Katherine Jackson said she even asked her son’s surgeon to pretend once that he had operated on the pop singer’s nose if he ever asked for more surgery.

Jackson said on yesterday’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show that her son thought he was ugly when he was a teenager and later “one day made up his mind to get his nose done”.

Michael Jackson died in June 2009 of an overdose of a powerful anaesthetic.

His mother said she talked to the surgeon because Jackson’s nose kept getting smaller from repeated operations and looked “like a toothpick at one time”.
