Actress injured in road crash

ACTRESS Juliette Lewis was injured in a hit-and-run crash in California, police said.

Sgt Sean Kelley said Lewis was a passenger in the back seat of a four-door sedan on Wednesday night when a driver ran a stoplight, smashed into Lewis’s vehicle and kept going.

The car was found a short distance away, but the driver had fled the scene in Burbank.
