Male escort visited Saudi prince accused of murder in London hotel

A MALE escort alleged to have performed a sex act on a Saudi prince accused of murder told a court how he visited the hotel where he was staying.

Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud is said to have killed Bandar Abdulaziz, 32, during a ferocious attack with a “sexual element” on February 15.

The 34-year-old denies murder and a second count of grievous bodily harm with intent over an alleged assault on Abdulaziz in a lift on January 22.

His lawyer, John Kelsey-Fry, yesterday denied the suggestion the two men were in a gay relationship.

Prosecutors claim two male escorts had visited the prince at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, central London.

Pablo Silva, a Brazilian student, yesterday told the Old Bailey he was called to the up-market hotel in early February after advertising his services with agencies, Escort Guys and Men In The City.

Silva, speaking through an interpreter, said he arrived at about 1am to be greeted by a “very polite” man who gave him a glass of water to drink while he sat on a sofa.

“I asked him whether he wanted a massage and I asked him to remove something which he had on so that I should be able to do the massage.”

Tall, dark-haired Silva said he was studying in Portugal for a doctorate in mathematics but would visit England to improve his English during which he worked as an escort to pay for his stay.

Silva said he could not say with “100% certainty” whether there had been a “sexual element” to the massage but believed there had been. He said he had been paid a pre-arranged fee in £50 notes.

Earlier, hotel porter George Konis said he had seen Abdulaziz apparently injured and he seemed to be treated “like a slave”.

“The darker guy, he was battered, he was bruised up, beaten up, with sunglasses. He was all swollen.”

Jurors heard details of how the men visited “fine dining restaurants” during the weeks before Abdulaziz’s death, and how one of them had been “quite generous” with tips.
