Israel accepts UN raid probe

ISRAEL yesterday agreed to take part in a UN investigation of its deadly raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed UN chief Ban Ki-moon of the decision.

The panel will be set up by Ban, who has been pressing Israel to cooperate.
