Footballer admits affray

A PROFESSIONAL footballer yesterday pleaded guilty to affray during a nightclub fracas.

West Bromwich Albion player Joe Mattock, 20, was due to stand trial for four counts of assault on two men and two women.

The charges relate to an incident at the Liquid Envy nightclub in Leicester, on August 30, 2009.
