Media tycoon Black leaves jail on $2m bail

FORMER media tycoon Conrad Black was released from a US jail today after a judge granted him $2 million bail.

Black walked free from the minimum security prison in Coleman, Florida, after US District Judge Amy St Eve set conditions for bail in a Chicago courtroom earlier today.

The former proprietor of the Daily Telegraph was told he must not leave the continental US and must attend the Chicago courtroom on Friday to hear further conditions of his release.
