Man guilty of Obama threat
The US Attorney’s office said 35-year-old Chane Phillip Christenson of St Paul, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to one count of making a threat to take the life of the president.
In his plea agreement, Christenson admitted that on January 6 he sent an email to the White House website stating that he intended to kill the Obama family.
Christenson also admitted that he previously sent a similar email to the White House.
Christenson faces up to five years in prison when sentenced.
