Glastonbury hotter than the soccer as Wonder rocks on

THE “hottest Glastonbury ever” shrugged its shoulders after England’s World Cup humiliation last night and went back to the music.

Thousands massed in two specially designated fields to watch a hapless England get dumped out of the World Cup. But once they got back to the bands and the bar, few seemed to care.

This year’s festival has basked in soaring temperatures and the anticipation for headliner Stevie Wonder was electric. The Motown legend took to the Pyramid Stage as the 40th anniversary festival closed.
