Palin ‘would love to meet Thatcher’ on British visit

EX-US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin says she has been invited to Britain and “would love” to meet Margaret Thatcher.

Palin wrote in a Facebook posting yesterday that her invitation to London included an offer to arrange a meeting with former prime minister, who is one of her “political heroines”.

She said she “would love” to meet Thatcher and hoped to arrange a trip soon.
