Bullock received a standing ovation as she accepted the MTV Generation Award in her first live TV appearance since she split with cheating husband Jesse James earlier this year.

The 45-year-old actress used her acceptance speech to clear up tabloid rumours – “number one, I’m not dead” – and kiss Scarlett Johansson.
