Apollo auction

THE emergency checklist from the Apollo 13 aborted moon landing is being auctioned in New York City.

Apollo 13 was cut short when an oxygen tank ruptured. The crew famously radioed: “Houston, we’ve had a problem.”

The checklist will be auctioned at Bonhams New York on Tuesday, the 40th anniversary of the oxygen tank emergency on April 13, 1970. It is estimated to sell for up to $30,000 (€22,000).
