TV chef breaks leg after fall

MICHELIN-STARRED chef Raymond Blanc has been taken to hospital after falling down the stairs at his Oxford home.

The TV chef, 60, who is back on the small screen with his first cookery programme in 13 years, broke his leg in the fall.

His fiancee, Russian-born doctor Natalia Traxel, was at the house when the chef fell. Blanc, famed for his flagship Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons restaurant, is expected to have an operation and will return home to rest.
