Man crashes plane into US tax offices

A SMALL plane, apparently piloted by a suicidal man upset with US tax authorities, has crashed into the Internal Revenue Service’s offices in Austin, Texas.

Witnesses said the plane was flying fast at low altitude, banked and hit the building yesterday.

Reports said two people were taken to hospital and at least one person was unaccounted for, but fire officials said they believed everyone else had been safely evacuated from the building, where about 200 people work.
