MP’s niece jailed for France murder
A judge in Versailles set a 15-year sentence, exceeding the 12 years demanded earlier by the prosecution for 30-year-old Davies – niece of British junior defence minister Quentin Davies.
On Monday the court heard how Davies, 30, met 24-year-old Olivier Mugnier in an Irish bar in November 2007 and then went with him to her flat in the chic Paris suburb of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
