Astronaut dad

ASTRONAUT Randolph Bresnik became a father while after launching into space and taking a spacewalk.

He announced the birth of his daughter, Abigail, on NASA’s airwaves yesterday morning. His wife, Rebecca, gave birth to their second child in Houston late on Saturday. They have a three-year-old son, adopted from the Ukraine.

Bresnik, 42, said mother and baby are doing well.
