Man confesses to 11 killings

A MAN confessed to a court in eastern Bangladesh that he had killed 11 women in the past three years.

Rasu Miah volunteered the confession while being questioned about an unrelated theft, police officer Mir Kashem said yesterday.

Mr Kashem said police have now arrested the 40-year-old man over the murders.
