NASA unveils Hubble photos

THE refurbished Hubble space telescope has produced the sharpest photos yet of cosmic beauty.

NASA yesterday unveiled the first deep space photos taken by Hubble since its $1 billion (€686m) repair mission earlier this year. That work included installing two new cameras, and replacing broken parts.

Earlier this summer, Hubble took pictures of Jupiter when an asteroid or comet hit it.
