Routine morning that turned to tragedy

JAYCEE LEE DUGARD was 11 on June 10, 1991, when she was kidnapped while walking to her bus stop on Washoan Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe.

The fifth-grader was 4ft 6in tall and weighed five stone 10 pounds. She had a gap between her upper front teeth, a chicken pox scar between her eyes, a brown butterfly-shaped birthmark on her right arm below her elbow and moles on her back.

Jaycee wore a pink windbreaker, pink stretch pants, a white T-shirt and canvas sneakers.
