Berlusconi: No ‘wild parties’

ITALIAN prime minister Silvio Berlusconi said he never had relations with underage women and did not organise “wild parties” at his residences, adding that three months of media coverage of his private life hasn’t strained relations with his children.

“I never had relations with any underage women and I didn’t organise wild parties,” the premier said in an interview with Chi magazine, which is owned by his publishing company, Arnoldo Mondadori Editore SpA.

Berlusconi said church leaders who have demanded he respond to press reports that women were paid to attend parties at his homes “also fell into the trap of slanders against me, taking false news as truth”, he said.
