A PREGNANT British woman jailed for life in Laos for trafficking heroin says she is “enormously relieved and happy to be back on British soil”.

Samantha Orobator, 20, from south London was flown into Heathrow Airport from Vientiane in Laos yesterday.

The eight-month pregnant woman, described her ordeal as “an unimaginable nightmare”.

A deal brokered with the Laos government last week secured her release. She would have faced the death penalty had she not been pregnant.

She was arrested on her way to Australia.
